Golfers raise charity cash
Simon Lindley and Alan Herbert of the Gateley Team with President Roger Wallett (Centre).
A KLAXON sounded to get Harborough Lions Club’s annual golf tournament off to an unusual start this year.
The 18 teams taking part started at the same time, off 18 different tees, as the sound of the horn echoed across Harborough Golf Club.
The event, won by Simon Lindley and Alan Herbert of the Gateley team, raised more than £750 for Lions Charities.
Lions’ president Roger Wallett thanked all those who took part and Harborough Golf Club for its hospitality.
