Local ladies take part in the International Women's Day at the Grammar School Hall, Kibworth.

A celebration of the upcoming International Women’s Day was held at Kibworth Grammar School Hall last Wednesday.

Host Jacqui Tillyard invited friends, family and villagers to come together for afternoon activities, to learn about Oxfam’s work with women and for plenty of tea and scones.

International Women’s Day, being held on March 8, celebrates respect, towards women and their economic, political and social achievements.
