Electricity problem prompts call-out to fire service

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Roman Way in Harborough on Saturday after problems with an electrical socket were reported.

Two fire crews from the Harborough station arrived on the scene at about 10am.

They isolated the socket and made it safe after the switch had arched. Only minor damage was reported, according to the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue daily report log.
