Defibrillator scheme

A SCHEME to install a defibrillator in North Kilworth has been boosted by a £1,000 grant from Leicestershire Council’s Big Society Fund.

The money was a portion of a £340,000 cash pot shared out among 70 community-led schemes across the county.

Cllr Blake Pain said: “This is the Big Society in action – the community coming up with great ideas and the council helping turn them into reality.”
